Prayers of Protection Before Entering And Leaving an Investigation

Paranormal investigations deal with the spirit world and should therefore include some form of spiritual protection.  Investigating without spiritual protection before and after could be opening yourself up for an entity to attach itself to you or your equipment.  Protect yourself, the people with you, the homeowners, and your equipment with some kind of prayer. Here are a couple you can use.

Opening Prayer:
Saint Michael the Archangel, Defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray
And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
By the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits
Who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen

 

 Closing prayer:
 "In the name of Jesus Christ, I command all human spirits to be bound to
the confines of the cemetery. I command all inhuman spirits to go where Jesus
 Christ tells you to go, for it is He who commands you."

Amen

The light of God surrounds us (me).

The love of God enfolds us (me).

The power of God protects us (me).

The presence of God watches over us (me).

Wherever we are (I am), God is.

And all is well.
